Last year we took the kids to the parade and they enjoyed it. Kyle ended up working Friday night so didn't get off until 4 am. The parade started at 9 but we needed to leave home by 7. So I took the kids and went by myself. They enjoyed it. It wasn't too warm and we were in the shade until the end. They were really good and listened well. Here is Kayla throwing the frisbee. we have been working on throwing it right at home and she did really well
They passed out flags to everyone. The first half of the parade they waved them at everyone, but then got tired.
This was the big eagle balloon they had.
They had these native american dancers which were great. They stopped in front of us and did their little routine. The kids were awe-struck.
