My kids are so excited for Santa to come. Kayla and Tanner are 4 and have anticipated the season for a while. While that is great, what is also wonderful is they are just as excited for Jesus' birthday. We always act out the nativity on Christmas eve. They have been practicing playing Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus. It is great to see. We have been reading all about the Christmas story and they are fascinated by it all from Mary having the angel visiting to Shepherds, to King Herod, to the Wise men. It is a great story that even children can understand. That is one miracle of Christmas.
Another miracle of Christmas is how 4 yr olds can be just as excited to buy and give gifts as they are to get them. Kayla and Tanner have loved going shopping and making gifts for everyone from their sisters to grandmas and grandpas. It is amazing how they come with a special spirit of giving.

I agree. I love how excited my kids get to give gifts. They can hardly wait for the people to open what they have gotten them or made for them.
